It’s finally short season! If there is one thing I do love, it is wearing shorts. And with summer drawing near, its time to put away the chunky knits and pull out the shorts!
But maybe you haven’t found your go-to summer pair yet, well I’m here to help. This season, there is going to be a big focus on pastels, which is actually quite a clever way to incorporate color into your outfit. Because of how light the colors are, it almost acts as a neutral. Which, in turn, makes it relatively easy to wear. Any pastel paired with white will give you a perfect summer outfit, but they can also work just as well with dark colors or even the same color in a darker shade (monochromatic anyone?).
So lets focus on a must-have this summer… pastel shorts. Above I’ve given you guys a variety of colors and price points to choose from. Whether you’re budget is 20 dollars or 200 dollars, there is a pair for you. Now the blue is probably the safest option as blue is a more neutral color naturally, and it allows you to hit another summer trend: summer blues. With that said, my personal favorite is the AllSaints pair. I like how there is a hint of red/pink in the color yet they are in no means loud.
What do you guys think? Which pair is your favorite?
Hey everyone quick little update! The past few days have been rather eventful. My family and I went up to Palm Springs (and of course, we forgot the camera )for the holiday and we had a great time. We got to spend a lot of time together and reflect on what we are thankful for. After that we headed over to Cabazon for some Black Friday shopping, and boy did we shop. Which brings me to the heart of why I am posting right now… some of the deals I found and my new obsession.
So my game plan for the trip was to get some Christmas shopping done, find chunky knits for the cold months ahead, and buy a pair of light washed denim (because somehow all of my jeans end up being dark). Lets just say my mission was accomplished, although I didn’t get as much Christmas shopping done as I would of liked to, I was able to pick up a great piece for Tosha that hopefully you guys will be able to see soon. As for the jeans, I found a great deal and you can’t really beat getting $200 jeans for only $40. And without giving to much away on what my new sweaters look like, I found some great steals at Allsaints and Saks, so I should have some great winter looks coming in the next few months! Now to show you guys the purchase I have been drooling over…
