If you guys haven’t caught on by now, I am a shoe person. I am a firm believer that shoes make or break an outfit and you don’t want to wear a broken outfit! If you also haven’t noticed, my shoe collection is rather diverse … filled with assortments of brogues, loafers, sneakers, and boots. I love all shoes (excepts crocs, I don’t like those) and try to make my outfits based on the shoes I want to wear for the day.
These flashy little guys have been with me for some time now and they are still as reflective as they were the first time I wore them. Now the difficulty with wearing anything reflective is that one moment you are looking at a matte gray item and with the slightest movement, it is shining bright like a diamond (which also made them quite difficult to photograph). So the key is to create an outfit that wont try to battle the reflection when it is “on”, but that is also eye catching enough to stand on its own while the reflection is “off”. So now that I’m done referring to my shoes as if they are a light switch, I hope you enjoy the look!
