Oh what a week this has been! There are a lot of things that are shifting and happening that will hopefully make us stronger. So lets just say that I am excited for what the future holds for my family.

So moving on to my outfit, obviously the focal point is my shoes.  Yes they are bright, yes they have a pink tongue, and yes they do glow in the dark.  But you have to admit that they are pretty awesome!  I have had them in my closet for quite a few years, and they have definitely gotten their share of wear, but they most certainly aren’t something you can wear everyday.  The key to successfully wearing anything that bright and bold is usually to keep the rest of the outfit pretty simple, and there is nothing simpler than all black.  A black pea coat fully buttoned with a scarf over it is perfect to protect you from any cold weather thrown your way, you could also add a black beanie if you needed a little extra warmth.  There is also some unexpected detailing in the stitching of the coat and the ribbing of the scarf; you just have to look closely to see it.  Plus we all know that it’s the details that count!
