It’s finally short season! If there is one thing I do love, it is wearing shorts. And with summer drawing near, its time to put away the chunky knits and pull out the shorts!
But maybe you haven’t found your go-to summer pair yet, well I’m here to help. This season, there is going to be a big focus on pastels, which is actually quite a clever way to incorporate color into your outfit. Because of how light the colors are, it almost acts as a neutral. Which, in turn, makes it relatively easy to wear. Any pastel paired with white will give you a perfect summer outfit, but they can also work just as well with dark colors or even the same color in a darker shade (monochromatic anyone?).
So lets focus on a must-have this summer… pastel shorts. Above I’ve given you guys a variety of colors and price points to choose from. Whether you’re budget is 20 dollars or 200 dollars, there is a pair for you. Now the blue is probably the safest option as blue is a more neutral color naturally, and it allows you to hit another summer trend: summer blues. With that said, my personal favorite is the AllSaints pair. I like how there is a hint of red/pink in the color yet they are in no means loud.
What do you guys think? Which pair is your favorite?
I know we haven’t given you guys any new looks, so I hope you enjoy!
Now who doesn’t love a bit of that California sun on a breezy spring day? This outfit is a bit brighter than I usually do, but I guess the sun inspired me a bit. I actually had my clothes lying around from a few previous days and like the way they looked together to I snatched ‘em up and put them on! The bright polo is a great piece for spring and summer and is sure to get you noticed. If you haven’t got on the camo trend yet, it’s not too late. Camouflage has set itself up to be a must have for the upcoming seasons, and a good pair of pants will transition thru out the seasons with ease. Finish is off with some blue suede shoes and you got yourself a perfect spring/summer look!

Happy Easter! I know I am a day late but I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend, and were able to celebrate with friends and family. My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing Easter brunch with a few loved ones, it was perfect!
Well every year around this time I feel the need to get rid of the old and make room for the new and this year is no different. I am getting ready to do a major spring cleaning and before I started I wanted to gather some helpful tips to make my cleaning the most efficient. I found this great website with wonderful advice on organizing and cleaning and I thought I would share it with all of you. The website is called “Get Organized Now”, perfect name right? I recommend if you have time to go there before you begin.
Organizing is one of my favorite things to do and I have actually thought about being a professional organizer. I love the idea of taking chaos and forcing it to make sense. Personally my idea of organizing is that everything has a place to belong, so when something is out of place it is noticeable and it can be put back. Below are a few pictures that depict my idea of organizing and hopefully they will inspire you to take the step and begin organizing that room/draw/closet that you have been wanting to tackle for months!
